What you will do
As Account Manager Metal Framing & Pipe Supports (MF&PS;) you serve your existing customers but also identify, investigate and evaluate new growth opportunities to generate incremental revenue, improve profitability and help the business to grow. Develop strong (consultative) relationships with key (distribution) partners, end-users, OEMs and other important players to ensure that our MF&PS; products are specified and bought and that you will meet the set (sales) targets.
Reporting into the Sales Manager you will be responsible to implement the regional MF&PS; strategy in Germany and to meet your set targets.
This position will be based in Germany
How will you do it
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree in business or technical curriculum is preferable
Sales personality with strong strategic vision to drive sales growth
5-10 years’ experience in sales in HVAC business. In-depth knowledge with heating / ventilation / air conditioning products
Engineering acumen and strong technical and commercial confidence.
Functional experience in areas of strategic planning and marketing, business and market development and market research is required.
Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external constituencies including senior level executives, legal, technical, finance, sales, product management and marketing experts
Superior English and German communication skills both verbal and written
Well-versed in MS Office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Salesforce.com & SAP experience is highly desirable
Travel up to 75% at times
